Eat Drink Live Enjoy: Amburgaria & Pregaria Tradicional

Amburgaria is this new place in Setúbal, located at Avenida Luisa Tody (the main avenue of Setúbal).

Setúbal is a region of fish... meaning that the specialty is the fish... all kinds in every way possible (but the best one is: fried cuttlefish and grilled fish).

Amburgaria & Pregaria Tradicional is a restaurant that serve, specially, burgers... and different burgers.

FINALLY... With this restaurant Setúbal gain an alternative beside the fish (that I love by the way =P)

The place is very clean and very well decorated... keeping some traditional features inside.

Let talk about the food...

The menu has the right size... Not to many dish... but with enough dish to make us undecided. Here the burger is king (of course...) and I will show you 4 of there burgers... and also 3 starters and 2 desserts.

We started with:

"Bolo do Caco" with garlic butter and chives... Much Much better than the traditional bread and butter (and a big trend nowadays - In my opinion it's OK for now but they should work on something more innovative but keeping it with the same vibe of the restaurant.

Potato skins with dipping sauces... they were crispy and very well done. Once again very different from the competition but very common nowadays.

At least MY FAVORITE... and unlike the previews... This dish is very innovative and simple (basically a reinvention of a local dish)... I talking about fried cuttlefish with ink. I never ate something like this ever... Very well made... Just PERFECT. Everyone should try it.

The Burgers:

I didn't try all of them (of course...) but the opinion was unanimous... very good burgers. I already ate in a few "burger restaurant" and their burgers are on my Top 3. All the burger's names are related with the region.
