The Restaurant Week is
one of the most amazing events for foodies like me, and why?because you have
the chance to eat in the most incredible restaurants at a cheapest prices (20€
which include a starter, main course and dessert).
Before I describe how the experience was let
me tell you the secret... If you want to enjoy the event to the most don't go
alone... this way you have the opportunity to try all the dishes that they
offer.
Eleven Restaurant is the hardest restaurant to book, at this event, since it is a Michelin star, everyone want to go there during the event... and you can imagine why!!! the prices are very high.
The amuse-bouche: shrimp with mashed peas
The starters were:
Gazpacho with smoked eggplant - a simple dish with a perfect execution - fresh and delicious. This made me remember all the family dinner that you had when your grandmother is the how cook... and make that soul food that only can do.
The main courses:
Perfectly seared grouper with couscous and vegetables. The foam that you see is "the foam of the ocean" that brings some saltiness to the dish. As you can see this dish is a reinterpretation of the ocean.
Pork with mashed potato and balsamic onions compote... (Where can I learn how to make a mashed potato like this?! YAMMY)
The dessert:
Sericaia with prune sorbet
