As I told before the Restaurant Week event is such an opportunity to try the best restaurants at accessible price.In this post I will talk about another food experience that I had... This time at 1300 Taberna.
This restaurant is located in one of the most amazing places of Lisbon... The LX FACTORY a recovered industrial area with a lot of new restaurants, shops, bar, etc...
This space is very cool and very different... with an open kitchen, excellent food and a very different decoration.
So let's talk about the food...
Some bread (at least 4 different types of bread... which include beer bread), homemade butter and olive oil.
"Caldo Verde", a very traditional Portuguese dish... our version of comforting food!
Smoked salmon, citrus jam, cauliflower pure and arugula...
Octopus tribute... which includes octopus rice (with micro-leafs) and spicy fried octopus.
Pork cheeks with "migas" and baby-vegetables.
Dessert time
For the dessert we order two more dessert beside the one that was on the menu.
The menu dessert was a cheesecake with berries ice-cream and a few strawberries.
Chocolate cake with caramel a lemon ice-cream.
Snickers homage!!!! as you can imagine this was the best one =P... this dessert has it all... caramelized peanuts with caramel... chocolate brownie... chocolate ice-cream... love it... heaven on a plate.
