A great place to hangout...
Mercado da Ribeira (Ribeira's Market) opened recently close to Cais do Sodré. This new spot brings a new live to this area... if you are visiting Lisbon this is one of the places that you can't miss.
This market is one of the oldest in Lisbon... and has been submitted to restoration work, to keep his traditional look.
Inside the market you can find a real market, where you can find products like vegetables, meat, fish, flowers, etc.... But the fun part are the restaurants... With the restoration work came a few restaurant and some of them from great Chef.
Due the number of restaurants I didn't had the chance to try them all. I already tried:
O Prego da Peixaria - Codfish Burger and white wine
Henrique Sá Pessoa - Prego (pork Sandwich)
