Este Oeste

Food from the West to the East... It starts in Japan, with sushi, and ends in Italy, with pizzas! A very risky stratagy sice its two very different kind of cusines.

The space itself is amazing... starting with the main entrance where it is the bar. The all environment floats around this giant round sofa in the middle!!! the perfect place to spend the afternoon...

Passing to the restaurant! a very clean and modern decoration, very well adjusted to building itself (Centro Cultural de Belém). However, I don't know if it was just on that day or not, but I felt that the tables were really close from each other.

Before I start "talking" about the food, I need to highlight the service... the employees were very nice, helpful and thoughtful.

About the Food... this time we choose the East side!

Starting with a dish called Yaki Meshi (rice Japanese style) and some Gyosas. The rice was amazing and it is one of the starter that I rally recommend (rice with vegatables, egg, leeks and soy), really Oriental. The Gyosas were great to but sauce was the best part.

Main dishes - Sushi to Sashimi and Kisetsu Sashimi - between the two my favorite was the Sushi to Sashimi. It was good, however since I recently went, in my opinion, to one of the best sushi restaurant of Portugal the comparison is inevitable.

Overall, they have good sushi. The experience could have been better if I didn't found fish-bone the the sashime... from that point its not the same, you eat in fear... but this setback doesn't mean bad food... the opposite! the was really fresh.

With the sushi we drink Fiuza sauvignon blanc, which in my opinion, goes really well with the fish.

To finish right... the desserts!... Panna-Cotta and Oreo's mousse.

The Panna-Cotta was really smooth and with the perfect texture... and perfect with the strawberries couli... But the Oreo's  mousse was something else... it combine two of the best things in the World-. Chocolate mousse and Oreos, a killing mix.

Next time I will try the West side... the pizza looked really good.
